Midnight in the Garden Charity Fashion show

OMG! I've been so busy and incredibly excited for our next Charity fashion show. Sana Models teamed up with Best of Italian style to create "midnight in the garden". The show will be a mix of one-of-a-kind fashion designs from some of the most incredible designers on the grid and art - sculptures and fabulous oil paintings. I made everyone a little teaser photo showing only a FEW of the amazing gowns that will be on sale.

Many of the fashions are unique (one of a kind) designs and all will be auctioned at 2:15pmSL. Several amazing pieces of art will also find their way to the auction block!

~Show Background~
Abbie Reinard and Keely Lefavre, two of Second Life's hottest models, decided to spend time and effort raising funds for AIDS orphans through fashion. The Garments of Hope fashion shows and auctions are the outcome. "Garments of Hope is something with extraordinary power to change the lives of over 30 children orphaned due to the AIDS pandemic," says Ms. Reinard. "We were simply overwhelmed by the $316,000 raised at our first event." Within days of the first Garments of Hope show, Annemarie Parenti (owner of Best of Italian Style) contacted the women with an offer to do another show before Abbie's upcoming trip to Kenya. "Its so important to know that children are going to benefit from our Second Life passion for fashion," she says. Abbie agrees, "I think one of the most significant outcomes of these shows will be that these children know, for the first time, that they are not alone. That people from around the world see them, know them and want to touch them through the wonderful medium of Second Life."
Join them at Best of Italian Style for a fabuolous "Midnight in the Garden" with a feast of extraordinary fashion and art. First wander through our wondrous midnight garden viewing some of Sls top supermodels wearing fabulous one of a kind designs. Viewing is followed by an auction with the proceeds to be hand delivered to the orphanage by Abbie during her July trip to Kenya!

~Orphanage Detail~

There is a small village 20 miles west of Maseno, just north of the lakeside city, Kisumu, in Western Kenya where due to AIDS pandemic, a lot of children have been orphaned and they have no relatives or any means of support to even meet their basic necessities of food, clothing, shelter and education. The Maseno Project is an intimate charity whereby people's donations make significant impact on particular lives.
